Long been inspired by your vision to create bright future, writes Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino in her first tweet praising Elon Musk

Twitter's newly appointed CEO Linda Yaccarino wrote her first tweet on Sunday where she said she is inspired by owner Elon Musk's vision to create a brighter future.

"I’ve long been inspired by your vision to create a brighter future. I’m excited to help bring this vision to Twitter and transform this business together!" she said.

She also thanked Musk for her appointment.

Musk announced the appointment on Friday.

He was serving as the CEO since  his $44 billion buyout of Twitter last October
