Kim Jong Un to visit China today

Beijing, June 19 (IBNS): North Korea leader Kim Jong Un will visit China on June 19, Xinhua reported.

He will visit the country for two days till June 20.

"Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visits China from June 19 to 20," reported Xinhua.

This will be his first visit to China since meeting US President Donald Trump this month in Singapore.

It was during Singapore meet that both Kim and Trump pledged to denuclearise the Korean Peninsula.

This was the first meeting between the two leaders.
