China: 23 terror, religious extremism groups busted
Beijing, May 25 (IBNS); As many as 23 terror and religious extremism groups have been busted in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regions, reports said on Sunday.
The police have arrested 200 suspects this month.
"Police in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regions have busted 23 terror and religious extremism groups and caught over 200 suspects in May," China's Xinhua news agency reported quoting the regional public security department.
