Canada PM Justin Trudeau to announce Olympic flag-bearer today
Ottawa, Jan 16 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday will announce the country's flag-bearer for the upcoming winter games in South Korea, media reports said.
The announcement is scheduled to take place at 11.30 a.m. in the House of Commons.
Minister of Sports and persons with disabilities, Ken Hehr, COC President Tricia Smith and Canada's chef de mission Isabelle Charest will accompany Trudeau during the announcement.
The opening ceremony of the winter games will be held on Feb 9.
