Canada: Oakville Diwali Gala to present Lights, Camera, Auction to raise funds

Oakville, Aug 4 (IBNS): Oakville Diwali committee, in support of the Oakville Hospital Foundation, is once again organizing Oakville’s largest South Asian gala, 6th Annual Oakville Diwali Gala on Sept 20, media reports said.

“Having fundraised over a million dollars in five years for Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville Diwali is all set for their 6th Annual Gala Dinner,” said Rekha Sharma,

Chair, Oakville Diwali.

The expansion of the surgical program in putting essential equipment in the hands of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) caregivers, who would be benefited directly by this year’s event.

The main motive of Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHC) is striving to raise more funds is to enhance OTMH's surgical program and the need of more surgeons and new operating rooms to provide better care and exemplary patient experiences to the Oakville community patients.

Entertainment, silent auction and live auction, cause-within-a-cause, live music, DJ and dancing, delicious food and open bar for the attendees are some of the features which would be brought about by the red-carpet gala.
