British PM condemns Paris magazine office attack

London, Jan 7 (IBNS): British PM David Cameron on Wednesday condemned the attack on the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo which left at least 11 people dead.

Cameron tweeted: "The murders in Paris are sickening. We stand with the French people in the fight against terror and defending the freedom of the press."

At least 11 people were killed as gunmen attacked the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday, media reports said.

The attack left 10 people injured.

"Witnesses at the scene reported seeing multiple masked  gunmen," france24.com reported.

Charlie Hebdo is a French satirical weekly newspaper, featuring cartoons, reports, polemics and jokes.

It had earlier courted controversy with its take on news and current affairs.
