Moscow, May 13 (Sputnik/UNI) Bodies of all the victims of the deadly fire that engulfed a Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport on May 5 have been identified, a representative of Russian emergency services told Sputnik on Monday.

"Work on molecular genetic identification of the bodies of the victims has been completed. All the bodies have been identified, and experts are preparing their reports," the representative said.

An Aeroflot-operated SSJ100 caught fire at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport on May 5 after making an emergency landing. The aircraft was bound for the northern Russian city of Murmansk. The Russian Investigative Committee has reported that 41 people were killed in the tragedy.

The Russian Investigative Committee is now looking into potential causes of the fire on plane, including the possible insufficient qualification of the pilots, dispatchers and technical inspectors, aircraft malfunction and adverse weather conditions.
