Blast kills 20 in Nigeria

Abuja, Dec 22 (IBNS) A bomb blast at a bus station in Nigeria's Gombe city killed at least 20 people on Monday, media reports said.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.

The blast occurred at around 10:50 local time.

Red Cross official Abubakar Adamu Gombe told the BBC Hausa service that he expected the number of people killed by the explosion in Gombe to rise.

Several others were injured in the blast.
