Travel+Leisure hosts 4th edition of India's Best Awards 2015
New Delhi, Apr 13 (IBNS): Now in its 9th year in the South Asian region, Travel + Leisure India & South Asia announced the results of its fourth edition of the India's Best Award recently.
The polling was conducted as a reader’s poll both through the magazine and online in 2014 over a period of five months, and culminated in the announcement and Awards Ceremony at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon , New Delhi.
With 44 awards across different categories that range from the best country, emerging destination, cruise, business hotel, airport, destination spa, and honeymoon destinations in India and across the world, thousands of Travel + Leisure India & South Asia’s discerning readers have voted robustly and the competition was very close in many categories.
“Thousands of votes, 44 categories and a month-long tabulation have brought us a list of outstanding winners. There are some nice surprises and many natural choices, but more importantly, each winner reflects the fine taste of our readers and embodies forward-thinking services and travel experiences,” says Ruchira Bose, Editor, Travel + Leisure India & South Asia. “We introduced a couple of new categories this year, including Best Theme Park and Best Hotel Loyalty Programme, and the response from our readers for both was loud and clear. It is always wonderful to inspire readers and be inspired by them in turn.”
