Private Indian airline Air India Express has launched its ‘Book Direct’ campaign, inviting travellers to enjoy the best fares and a seamless booking experience across its network of 41 domestic and 17 international destinations.

With direct bookings on the airline’s award-winning website, www.airindiaexpress.com, and mobile app, guests can unlock fab deals including up to 20% off through promo codes and select bank discounts, with zero convenience fee for app and net banking payments on website. Designed for speed and ease, flights can be booked in under 60 seconds, making it one of the fastest digital-first booking experiences in the industry.

Additionally, students and senior citizens enjoy a minimum 6% discount, while armed forces personnel and their dependents benefit from up to 50% off.

These savings can be combined with ongoing discounts, adding up to as much as 70% in total savings when booking direct.

Guests can also use the airline’s ‘Fare Lock’ service, which allows them to secure their chosen fares for up to 7 days by paying a nominal fee.

Even if fares increase during the hold period, travellers will only pay the originally locked-in fare.

Additionally, guests booking with Mastercard debit and credit cards enjoy flat discounts of INR 250 on domestic flights and INR 600 on international flights.

Guests who pre-book their meals through the website or app can also enjoy up to 50% off, while exclusive member-only offers await logged-in users.

Travellers can pre-book their signature ‘Gourmair’ meals up to 18 hours before international flights and 12 hours before domestic flights, alongside a wide buy-on-board menu available in-flight.

The airline offers a range of curated fare options tailored to different travel needs: Xpress Lite, ideal for travellers who prefer to fly without check-in baggage Xpress Value, which includes 15 kg of check-in baggage; Xpress Flex, designed for those with uncertain schedules, allowing last-minute flight changes without hassle; and 25% off Xpress Biz fares and 20% off Biz Upgrades on domestic bookings.
