West Indies beat England to lift ICC World T20 title
Kolkata, Apr 3 (IBNS) In a thrilling final, West Indies defeated England by four wickets to lift the ICC World T20 title for the second time here on Sunday.
After restricting England at 155 for nine, West Indies reached the target of 161 runs by losing six wickets with two balls to spare.
Carlos Brathwaite hammered unbeaten 34 and Marlon Samuels scored 85 not out as they joined in a seventh wicket partnership of 54 runs to reach the target set by England.
West Indies had last won the title in 2012.
