WC: Glenn's century help Australia beat SL
Riding on Maxwell's knock, who hit second-fastest century in World Cup history, Australia has posted 376 for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.
Sri Lanka made a strong start and put up a strong performance but were all out for 312 runs in 46.2 overs in front of a Aussie bowling.
Australia moved to the quarter-finals of the 50 over mega cricket event with this victory.
Tillakaratne Dilshan (62) made an impressive start to the innings and even hit six consecutive fours off the fifth over bowled by Mitchell Johnson.
Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara (104) added 130 runs in the second wicket partnership which kept Sri Lanka in the match at the beginning of the innings.
Loss of Dilshan's wicket gave Sri Lanka a blow.
Sangakkara hammered another century of his career but was unable to finish off the task for his side. Dinesh Chandimal hit a lusty 26-ball 50 but after he was retired hurt, putting Sri Lanka into deeper trouble.
James Faulkner took three wickets for Australia.
Earlier, Maxwell reached his century off 51 balls helped Australia put up a massive 376 runs on the scorecard.
Steve Smith (72) , Shane Watson (67) and skipper Michael Clarke (68) contributed well with their willows.
Lasith Malinga and Thisara Perera took two wickets each for Sri Lanka.
