Port Elizabeth, Feb 14 (IBNS): Virat Kohli has become the first Indian cricket team captain to lead his side to a series victory in South Africa.

Creating a history in Port Elizabeth, Kohli's Team India ensured a series victory with one match to spare.

This is the first ever bilateral ODI series win in the South African soil.

In a post-match interaction, Kohli said: "It feels wonderful to create a history..... Ever since the third Test in Johannesburg, it has been a wonderful time for all of us."

Boasting on Rohit Sharma's ton and spinners' terrific bowling, India defeated South Africa by 73 runs on Tuesday.

After posting 274 runs for the loss of seven wickets, India bowled out South Africans for 201 runs.

India have taken an unbeatable 4-1 lead in the series.
