US Open: Sania crashes out

New York, Sept 7 (IBNS): India's Sania MIrza and her doubles partner Barbora Strycova were knocked out off US Open after they were defeated in the quarter-finals of the US Open here.

Sania and Barbora  were defeated by Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic 6-7 (3), 1-6.

After Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Gabriela Dabrowski were defeated, Sania was India's only hope in the grand slam this year.
