Tokyo Paralympics: India's Devendra Jhajharia grabs silver, Sundar Singh wins bronze in javelin throw event

Tokyo: India woke up to an amazing Monday morning as Devendra Jhajharia and Sundar Singh won silver and bronze medals in the javelin throw class F46 event of the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics.

Devendra won the silver medal with a Personal Best throw of 64.35m.

Sundar grabbed bronze by throwing 64.01m.

Modi tweeted the silver medal winning athlete and tweeted: "Superb performance by @DevJhajharia ! One of our most experienced athletes wins a Silver medal. Devendra has been making India continuously proud. Congratulations to him. Best of luck for his future endeavours. #Paralympics."
