Karachi,Sept 12 (IBNS): With cricket returning to Pakistan, former captain and pacer Wasim Akram feels that the T20 series between the hosts and World XI is more than just a game of cricket.

Akram told Geo News: "It’s bigger than just winning or losing. No matter what the outcome of the series is, it’s more than just a game of cricket."

He said: "I welcome the World XI, it is a very good T20 team. But our boys make up a good T20 team and are very motivated after winning the Champions Trophy."

Faf du Plessis of South Africa is leading the World XI side that is visiting Pakistan.

Both the sides will play three T20 International matches in the series.
