Surrey signs Australia's T20 skipper Aaron Finch

London, Feb 1 (IBNS): English country side Surrey has signed Australian T20 skipper Aaron Finch as its overseas player.

The club said he has been signed as cover for former  Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara during the CPL.

"Available for all formats of the game, Finch’s debut is set for the Guildford Festival clash between Surrey and Warwickshire on Saturday July 2nd," read the club website.

Speaking this week Aaron Finch was quoted as saying by the club's website: “This is a great opportunity for me and one I am very much looking forward to. To have the chance to play all forms of the game is a challenge I will relish, as I have ambitions to represent Australia in Test Match cricket."
