Nottingham, Aug 6 (IBNS) Stuart Broad bowled a magical spell as he took eight wickets which helped England bowl out Australia for 60 in the first innings of the fourth Test match of the Ashes here on Thursday.

Broad devastated the Australian batting lineup with his charismatic bowling to end with a figure of 8-15.

Broad also passed the 300 Test wickets mark in this match which helped him achieve a personal landmark in his career.

Australian batsmen looked helpless with just Michael Clarke  (10) and Mitchell Johnson (13) touching the double figure score.

Broad's career-best figure helped him reach his 14th five-wicket haul in a Test innings.

With 2-1 lead. England will need a win here to clinch the Ashes series.

Mark Wood and Steven Finn scalped a wicket each for the hosts.
