Sports Ministry approves financial assistance for shooter Abhinav Bindra

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS): Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on Wednesday said it has approved financial assistance to shooter Abhinav Bindra from National Sports Development Fun (NSDF) for his visit to Germany during the period from Sept 1 to 11.

Bindra will visit the country  for stock personalization of rifle, ammunition test .

" Release of 90% of the estimated cost as advance has also been approved.   The expenditure on the above items will be met from the budget allocated to Abhinav Bindra under TOP Scheme," read a government statement.
