South African pacer Dale Steyn out of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup

London, June 4 (IBNS): Cricket South Africa received a jolt in the ongoing world Cup as pacer Dale Steyn has been ruled out from the tournament due to injury.

Cricket South Africa tweeted: "Dale Steyn out of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, with Beuran Hendricks to replace him. More to follow."

Steyn has been replaced by Beuran Hendricks.

He is a fast bowler who plays for Cobras and his native Western Province cricket team.

South Africa has lost its two games in the World Cup.

They were beaten by England and then by Bangladesh.

They will meet India on Wednesday.
