Sourav Ganguly turns 44
Kolkata, July 8 (IBNS): The Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly turned 44 on Friday.
The gritty former cricketer and team India skipper is hailed as of the most stylish batsman to have played the sport.
Ganguly was born in 1972 in Kolkata and is one of the most decorated and well known personalities in the country.
His achievements include playing the finals of the 2003 ICC World Cup, though his side finished second in the competition. In 2000, he was responsible for ending the 16 Test match winning streak of Steve Waugh's Australian side.
On his birthday, fans greeted the former skipper on social networking sites floating #HappyBirthdayDada tweets.
