Kolkata/IBNS: Indian cricket board president Sourav Ganguly on Wednesday went into home quarantine as per health protocols after his elder brother Snehasish Ganguly tested positive for Covid-19, media reports said.

Snehasish, a former Bengal cricketer and present Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) joint secretary, has been shifted to a hospital.

Sourav's elder brother was suffering from fever for the last few days.

Earlier Snehasish's wife and in-laws had tested positive for Covid.

The CAB joint secretary had shifted to his ancestral house in Behala, where Sourav resides, after his wife and in-laws had tested positive for the deadly virus.
