Six-year old Taara writes to 'Sachin Uncle', wants to meet cricket legend

Mumbai, Sep 8 (IBNS): India's star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, on Friday, shared a letter on Instagram, where a six-year old has written how she felt on seeing Tendulkar as a child in the biopic Sachin: A Billion Dreams.

Taara in her letter also asked for permission to meet him and his family.

Taara, who referred to Tendulkar as "Sachin Uncle", said that she saw the biopic Sachin: A Billion Dreams.

The little girl wrote how she was amused to see a naughty Tendulkar while he was small and also cried at the master blaster's retirement, while watching the movie.

The former Indian cricket captain replied to the girl saying: "Hi, Taara! Thank you so much for writing to me.. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the movie. Keep smiling :)"

However, the former player, who holds the record of 100 international centuries, refrained from making any comment about meeting his young fan.
