Singh qualifies for Rio Olympics

Munich, May 31 (IBNS) Indian shooter Gurpreet Singh has qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games after he finished fourth in the 10m Air Pistol category at the ongoing ISSF World Cup here on Sunday.

Singh finished in the fourth spot with 154.8 points in the final clash.

The first spot was clinched by Joao Costa of Portugal as he shot a total of 201.4 points.

Tomoyuki Matsuda of Japan and Chinese Yang Sun scored 200.4 and 177.3 points  respectively to win the silver and bronze medal in the final contest.
