Shamim Khan and team win Pro-Am event of Kolkata Classic 2017

Kolkata, Mar 25 (IBNS): The Pro-Am event of the Kolkata Classic 2017 was won by professional Shamim Khan’s team.

The Pro-Am was played in the Texas Scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green.

Delhi’s Shamim Khan, who won the second edition of the Kolkata Classic on Friday, also led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event on Saturday with a score of 54.9 points. Shamim’s team comprised of amateurs Adit Bajoria, K K Baheti and Udayjit Bhalotia.

Chandigarh-based professional Sujjan Singh helped his team finish second with a score of 55.6 points. Sujjan’s team comprised of amateurs  Akshay Bajoria, Mukesh Kapur and Neha Agarwal.

The prize for the closest to the pin on hole no. 2 was won by Nikhil Sanwal.


The prize for the closest to the pin on hole no. 13 was won by Atul Almal.
