Shahid Afridi fails to find a place in PCB's central contract

| | Oct 29, 2016, at 01:05 am
Islamabad, Oct 28 (IBNS): The Pakistan Cricket Board has not named senior cricketer Shahid Afridi in its central contract.

Afridi had earlier served the nation as the skipper of the Test, ODI and T20 squad.

He resigned as the T20 skipper following the national side's early exit in the World T20 earlier this year.

The all-rounder had announced his retirement from Test cricket in 2010 and from one-day internationals in 2015.

"The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announces the award of its Players Central Contracts for the year 2016-17 (October 1, 2016- June 30th 2017) to 30 players in four categories," read a statement issued by the board.

Spinner Saeed Ajmal has also failed to find a place in the list.
