Series against Sri Lanka will be tough: Rohit Sharma

Mumbai, July 28 (IBNS): Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has said the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka will be 'tough' and the Indian side is looking forward to it.

"I am looking forward to the Sri Lankan tour. They (Sri Lankan players) play well on their own backyard," Sharma told bcci.tv.

"It's going to be tough series," he said.

Sharma said he always tries to give his best performance while representing his country.

Speaking on his preparation on playing Tests, Sharma said: "Every Test match is important and I give my all while playing the format."

India will soon be visiting Sri Lanka to play a series in the Asian nation.
