Serena Williams faces Garbine Muguruza in Wimbledon final

London, July 9 (IBNS) US star Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza will face each other in the final of the Wimbledon here.

Serena reached the final by beating Russian star Maria Sharapova in the semi-final clash 6-2, 6-4 .

The US star completely destroyed her strong opponent in the clash which saw two leading ladies of the Tennis world fighting for a seat in the final.

Serena will be playing her third straight Grand Slam final  this year with winning both the Australian Open and French Open titles earlier.

In the other clash, Agnieszka Radwanska was defeated 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 by Garbine Muguruza.

Meanwhile, Indian Tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea crashed out of the tournament after they were defeated in the semi-final by Dutch-Romanian pair of Jean Julien-Rojer and Horia Tecau .

In a thrilling five-set thriller, the Indo-Romanian pair were defeated 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 13-11.
