Melbourne/IBNS: Debutant Scott Boland had a memorable adventure on field in his first international match as his fiery 6/7 powered Australia to triumph over England in the third Ashes Test by an innings and 14 runs here on Tuesday.

The visitors started their day's play on Tuesday from 31/4 but soon were bowled out for 68 in 27.4 overs.

English skipper Joe Root (28) and Ben Stokes (11) were the only batters from the visitors' side to cross double digit in the second innings.

Earlier in the first innings, Australia were bowled out for 267 in reply to England's mere 185.

Boland in the first innings had clinched a wicket in the form of Mark Wood.
