Saina Nehwal turns 28, Indian celebrities wish her on birthday

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (IBNS): India's badminton sensation Saina Nehwal turned 28 on Saturday as celebrities from different corners of society wished her on the special day.

Saina is the first Indian badminton player to win a Olympic medal.

In her career, she was won over 23 international titles.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Na Chandrababu Naidu tweeted: "Warm birthday wishes to the badminton champion @NSaina. May God bless you with health and many more inspirational achievement."

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee greeted the Olympic medalist by saying : "Wishing @NSaina a very happy birthday."

Indian women cricket team captain Mithali Raj tweeted: "Happy Birthday @NSaina :) have a wonderful year!."

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: "Happy birthday, @NSaina! An inspiration to millions out there. Your contribution towards the sport has been immense. May you continue to reach greater heights of success in your life."

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly wished her by posting:" Wishing the pride of our nation, @NSaina a very happy birthday. Keep up your great work ."

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina said: "Wishing you a very happy birthday, @NSaina! Keep shuttling and keep winning. My best wishes to you for 2018."

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty greeted Saina by saying: "Happy Birthday @NSaina ! Keep Shining & winning glory! Stay Blessed."
