Saina Nehwal beat Aliye Demirbag in BWF World Championships 2018

Nanjing, July 31 (IBNS): Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal defeated Aliye Demirbag of Turkey to begin her journey in the BWF World Championships 2018 at Nanjing, China on Tuesday, media reports said.

Saina won the match in straight games 21-17, 21-8 in just 39 minutes on the second day of competitions.

Saina will take on Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in the third round.

Saina is ranked 10th in the world.
