Saina moves to number 5 in rankings

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IBNS): Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal has moved a place up to the fifth place in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings, officials said on Thursday.

Nehwal tweeted: "World Ranking one place up to 5 today. hope to do well!"

Other Indian player P.V. Sindhu retained her No.10 position in the list.

The list was topped by China's LI Xuerui.

In the men's rankings list, India's Kidambi Srikanth and Parupalli Kashyap stood at the 16th and 17th positions respectively.

Kashyap moved up four positions in the latest rankings.
