Saina cruises to Superseries semifinal

Dubai, Dec 19 (IBNS): Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal on Friday crusied to the semi-final of the BWF World Super Series Final by beating Bae Yeon Ju of Korea.

The Indian Olympic medalist cruised to the next round of the tournament by beating her opponent  15-21 21-7 21-17.

Both the players kept attacking each other but it was Saina who eventually smiled her way to the semi-final.

After the victory, Saina said the match against her Korean opponent was 'tough'.

"Won a tough match today against bae youn Ju from Korea 15-21, 21-7, 21-17 big match!" she tweeted.
