Saina cruises into semis, Sindhu & Srikanth crash out of Indonesia Masters

Jakarta, Jan 25 (IBNS): Saina Nehwal on Friday cruised into the semifinal of the Indonesia Masters on a day P.V. Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth crashed out of the badminton tournament.

Eighth seed Saina beat Thailand's Pornpawee Chochuwong 21-7 21-18 to make it to the last four.

China's He Bingjiao will be her next opponent. The two have never played  against each other.

Sindhu lost 11-21, 12-21 to the Spanish Olympic gold medalist Carolina Marin.

Indonesian Jonatan Christie best Srikanth 21-18, 21-19 in the men's singles.
