Mumbai, Dec 31 (IBNS): Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma became a proud father as his wife Ritika Sajdeh has given birth to a baby girl, media reports said.

An Instagram story of Seema Khan, who is actor Sohail Khan's wife as well as Ritika's cousin, also suggests that Rohit and his wife became parents of a girl.

She captioned the story saying, "babygirl".

Rohit, who is presently in Australia for his cricketing commitments, will fly back to India giving a miss to the fourth and final Test match against the Aussies.

The couple got married in 2015.
