Rohit Sharma appreciates his team after Asia Cup victory

Dubai, Sept 29 (IBNS): Skipper Rohit Sharma praised the cricketers for handling the pressure in the final of the Asia Cup as they beat Bangladesh by three wickets to win the title for the seventh time here on Friday.

Sharma was captaining the side in the absence of rested regular skipper Virat Kohli.

This is one of the major victories under the leadership of Sharma.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Sharma said: "This is the reward of hard work by the team."

"We dominated all throughout the tournament," Sharma said.

"The players handled the pressure nicely in the final match,"  he said.

India beat Bangladesh by three wickets to lift the trophy.
