Roger Federer to return with Hopman Cup

Basel, Dec 20 (IBNS): Swiss Tennis master Roger Federer on Tuesday announced he will return to the court with Hopman Cup.

He has not been in action since he was defeated in the Wimbledon semi-finalsMilos Raonic in July.

The 17-time Grand Slam winner was advised to take rest and recover from the knee surgery.

He missed the Olympics and the remaining season this year.

Federer tweeted: "I know you haven’t heard much from me while I’ve been recovering. Thrilled to be returning to in Jan @hopmancup. Feeling healthy & ready!"

"As a special thanks to my fans who’ve been supporting me, on Thur 22nd @ 2pm Dubai , I'll broadcast my practice LIVE on Twitter & Periscope," he said.
