Madrid, June 16 (IBNS): Football giant Real Madrid on Saturday confirmed that it has reached an agreement with Brazil under-20 forward Rodrygo Goes from Santos.

The club said it will sign the footballer.

However, the player will not make his move to Spain until 2019.

A statement issued on Real Madrid's website said: "Real Madrid C. F. and Santos Futebol Clube have agreed that Rodrygo Goes will play his football at Real Madrid when he reaches the legal age requirement."

"Although the player would be able to play for our club as of January 2019, the agreement in place sets out that he will join the squad in July of that year," the club said.
