Rajasthan Royals beat RCB in IPL clash, Sanju Samson plays memorable 92 no

Bangalore, Apr 15 (IBNS): Rajasthan Royals' batsman Sanju Samson showed heroism with his willow as he smashed unbeaten 92 runs that helped his team beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs in an Indian Premier League match group stage clash here on Sunday.

Sanju helped his side post mammoth 217 for the loss of four wickets.

Rajasthan later limited RCB to 198 runs for the loss of six wickets.

Skipper Virat Kohli hammered 57 runs and  Mandeep Singh added 47 runs with his willow but could not reach the winning runs.

Singh shot six boundaries and a six in his 25-ball knock.

He remained unbeaten till the end but to win the match for the home side.

Washington Sundar added 19-ball 35 for RCB.

His dismissal ended all hopes for the team.

Gopal picked up two wickets for Rajasthan.

Riding on Samson's knock Rajasthan earlier posted 217 runs on the scorecard.
