Rahul, Hardik Pandya keep India alive in run chase against Sri Lanka in Kolkata ODI

Kolkata/IBNS: KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are steering the Indian innings in the run chase in the second One Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens here on Thursday.

Chasing 216, India were reduced 86/4 at one point losing the vital wickets of skipper Rohit Sharma and premier batter Virat Kohli.

Earlier, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 215 in 39.4 overs.

The Indian bowlers made the visitors' task tough, courtesy Mohammed Siraj (3/30), Kuldeep Yadav (3/51) and Umran Malik (2/48).
