Pune beat RCB by 27 runs in IPL clash

Bangalore, Apr 16 (IBNS): Rising Pune Supergiant defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 27 runs in an IPL match here on Sunday.

Posting 161 runs for the loss of eight wickets, Pune bowlers then restricted the home side at 134 runs for the loss nine wickets.

Apart from AB de Villiers (29) and Virat IKohli (28), the res of the batting lineup failed
to deliver with their willows.

Shardul Thakur picked up three wickets for Pune.


Earlier, Pune posted 161 runs on the scorecard.

Rahul Tripathi top scored for the side with his 31 runs.
