PSL: Sunil Narine reported for a suspected illegal bowling action

Dubai, Mar 16 (IBNS): Ahead of the Indian Premier League, West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has been reported for a suspected illegal bowling action during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.

He was reported for a suspected illegal bowling action during a match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at Sharjah, PSL said.

The official Twitter handle of the tournament said: "Sunil Narine has been reported for a suspected illegal bowling action during match between Lahore Qalandars & Quetta Gladiators at Sharjah. Narine has now been placed on the warning list and may continue to be selected to play and bowl for his team in the #HBLPSL."

Narine will play in the upcoming IPL tournament for Kolkata Knight Riders.

He was one of the two players retained by KKR during the recent auction for IPL.

IPL begins on Apr 7.

However, the latest setback might hit the spinner's participation in the tournament.

Narine had impressed KKR fans last year with his bowling as well as batting skills.
