Pink Ball Test: Indian pacers perform strongly, bowl out Bangladesh for 106 runs

Kolkata/IBNS: Indian bowlers put up a strong show on the first day of the iconic Pink Ball Test series as they bowled out Bangladesh for 106 runs here on Friday.

Bangladeshi batsmen continued their poor show in the longer format of the game as none of the top order batsmen could contribute much with the willow.

Indian pacers looked dangerous with the pink ball in their hands as Ishant Sharma finished the proceedings with five wickets.

Umesh Yadav took three wickets and Mohammed Shami managed two.

Shadman Islam (29) and Liton Das (24) remained the two shining spots in the Bangladesh batting lineup.
