Perth Test: India fight back, score 70/2 at tea on day 2

Perth, Dec 15 (IBNS): Surviving an initial jolt, India fought back hard to score 70/2 at tea on day 2 of the second Test match at Perth Stadium here on Saturday.

India suffered early losses in the form of Murali Vijay (0) and KL Rahul (2).

Since then, Cheteshwar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli stood firm in the wicket.

Pujara and Kohli are unbeaten at 23 and 37 respectively.

Australia scored 326 in the first innings.
