Christchurch/IBNS: India received a massive jolt in the New Zealand tour as the homeside defeated the visitors by seven wickets in the second Test match to complete a 2-0 clean sweep of the series here on Monday.

The Test match looked onesided with the Kiwis managing to win the series within three days.

The match emerged as one of the worst performance put up by the Indian batsmen in recent times.

New Zealand won the match by reading the target of 132 runs by losing only three wickets.

Latham (52) and Blundell (55) provided India with a strong start to the innings.

Bumrah picked up two quick wickets and Umesh Yadav clinched one but ut was too late for India to make a sting.

India were bowled out for 124 runs in the second innings.
