Nadal cruises to Wimbledon quarter-finals

London, July 10 (IBNS): Spain's Tennis icon Rafael Nadal reached the Wimbledon quater-finals by beating Czech Jiri Vesely here on Monday.

Nadal will be playing the quarter-finals of the tournament for the first time since 2011.

Nadal defeated Vesely 6-3 6-3 6-4.

"It is an important moment for me. I'm happy to be where I am and playing well," he told BBC Sport.

"They have been four positive matches, I haven't played on grass for a year and I'm hoping to keep enjoying it," he said.
