Mirza-Bethanie Mattek-Sands clinch Sydney doubles title
Sydney, Jan 16 (IBNS): Indian Tennis icon Sania Mirza added another title in her career as along with her partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands defeated Americans Abigail Spears and Raquel Kops-Jones in the final to lift the Apia International Sydney women's doubles crown here on Friday.
Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands defeated their opponents 6-3, 6-3 to win the clash.
It was Mirza's first title in the season.
Mirza won the 23rd title of the career.
A elated Mirza tweeted: "Champions in Sydney with @BMATTEK."
She said: "Boooom title number 23 with this girrlll."
