Kolkata , Nov 11 (IBNS): McLeod & Co. Annexed the Medica presented The Telegraph Cup Golf 2016.

The young turks of McLeod & Co. A represented by Akshay and Ishan Bajoria spoilt the repeat winning tee-party of J. Thomas & Co. -

A by a solitary stroke to win the title in a hard fought battle for supremacy that includedLuxmi Tea Co. Ltd.

Akshay improved on their overnight position with a well compiled 73 and Gaurav Ghosh who has unfortunately not been playing much golf kept pace till a double bogey on 17th put paid to their hopes.

Aditya Khaitan shone on Day 2 by returning the only under par score to be the best gross and ensure Williamson Magor-A won the first division.

Luxmi Tea finished on top of Division- 2 and special mention must be made of UC Roy who called a penalty on himself in true sportsmen like style.

Best Gross in The Challenge Cup was won by Surya Prakash with a 76 from Symphony Logistics.
