Mashrafe Mortaza announces retirement from T20
He said the ongoing series against Sri Lanka will be last T20 series for the national side.
"This is going to be my last T20 series for Bangladesh," he told during the toss.
He said: "I would like to thank BCB, my family and friends, team-mates and coaching staff. I would also like to thank my fans who really supported me in the last 15-16 years."
He has represented his nation in 52 T20Internationals before Tuesday's match against Sri Lanka.
