Lavam, Aishwarya shine in U-14 Sunfeast AITA Super Series qualifiers

Kolkata, Mar 24 (IBNS): Lavam Makharia of West Bengal pulled of a stiff challenge from another local lad Thanks and third seed Vedant Agarwal in Boys Under 14 Singles of the Sunfeast AITA Super Series 2019.

Lavam went on to break Vedant's service at the important time to win the set and match at 6-4.

In the Girls Under 16 Singles, Aishwarya Ajay Kumar prooved too good with her powerful groundstrokes to beat Rajarshi Das of West Bengal in straight sets.
